		<description>Hmmm...the first time I read “Dude - you need to get married!” I interpreted it to mean you need to get married because you need a  more exciting life than doing laundry and going to bed early, but maybe I read it that way because I can&#039;t imagine ANYONE viewing women as so subservient that their purpose in life is to do their husband&#039;s laundry.</description>

		<description>After two months of marriage, I am pleased to report that I do the bulk of the cooking, cleaning, and laundry. I also feed the fish, water the plants, and make the bed.

But I do not complain, because Gretch is busy with school and work, whereas I just work in the evenings and spend my days trying to concoct plans to find a doctor who will write a note giving me a clean bill of health without charging for said note.

I tend to like your ideal of marriage far more than your friend&#039;s view, which seems to hark back to the days of the wife who is barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. *sigh* Some people...</description>
