Okay, so I’m not directly making fun of anybody… but rather indirectly spreading the taunting of others. This is quite old, but it’s absurdity still makes me laugh. Update: I just re-watched the first portion of this, and there are a few seconds of dialogue that may be questionable to some. Don’t watch it if [...]

“They’ve Got Big, Long Road Out There…”
September 29th, 2008 · 7 Comments
Over this past weekend, I had the chance to go with the majority of my family to visit my older brother, his wife, and their new baby near Dallas, TX. Talk about a great trip! It was an incredibly long drive both there and back, but it was totally worth it!

It just doesn’t smell good…
September 25th, 2008 · 7 Comments
Does anyone agree with me here? I really don’t care for the smell of coffee. I’m not only referring to the smell of Joe when it is freshly made and in a cup. No, I’m referring to the stale, burnt, nastiness that comes from it sitting in the coffee pot in the break room ALL [...]

I don’t know what to say. I’m so ticked off that this comparison has been made that I don’t know that I can speak. http://www.rumromanismrebellion.net/2008/09/04/sales-pitch/ Really?! Really. Really? Umm… really. So should a certain “Community Organizer” be punishied capitally for their activism? Or, better yet, did a certain “Community Organizer” come from an equally immaculate [...]

Pop-Philosophy: The Soundtrack of My Life
September 10th, 2008 · 4 Comments
After quite a bit of thought and debate within my own mind, I have come up with a list of songs that I would call “The Soundtrack of My Life.” The hardest part of this wasn’t finding songs, but rather finding songs that represented periods of my life while still keeping the total number to [...]

As I lie here in bed, I was thinkin’ about music that has a particular application to my life. And, as I went down that road, I decided that I wanted to find a series of songs (hopefully no more than 20) that could be the “soundtrack” to my life. I don’t know how long [...]

Chicago’s Deep Dish Pie
September 7th, 2008 · 7 Comments
I got a phone call Saturday at about 4:15pm asking if I wanted to go out for pizza. Being a male, I couldn’t say no, but I was in for more of a treat than just pizza.

Farmington Italian Festival
September 3rd, 2008 · 3 Comments
I went with some friends to this festival last weekend, so I figured I could post a little bit about it here. Farmington, Illinois, is just what its name implies – a tiny farming community about 40 miles west of Peoria, which isn’t too bit itself. Farmington must have been originally founded by Itialians, ’cause [...]

Google Chrome. Huh?!
September 2nd, 2008 · 1 Comment
I had NO idea that Google was working on their own internet browser until a co-worker mentioned it today. I’m giving it a try here in the office, and so far it’s been pretty neat. Readers, meet Google Chrome. Google Chrome, please be nice to the readers.
