I’ve met a lot of females, young and old, that don’t fit this description, yet it is quite impressive to me. I realize that there are MANY different personality types out there, each being perfectly valid, and this one seems to be the most attractive to me.
To me, this is a strong, confident, self-aware woman that wants to be treated as such, and who hasn’t crossed over into the man-hating type of Feminism. While I appreciate women that really, truly strive to take care of their male counterparts, I don’t know that I want that. I’d much rather be paired with a woman that has this strength, tenacity, confidence, and assumed resilience – one that can handle herself without relying on constant words of encouragement.
Any comments out there? What do y’all think?

Men and Women who are substantive enough to understand these concepts are few and far between. And sometimes they are too smart for their own good. They don’t see each other for what they could be together.

I agree. I also must say that men who read, understand, and quote Anais Nin are few and far between. As a strong, confident, self-aware woman, I have to admit I’m quite impressed.
