When I created this blog, I left this “About Me” page quite plain with very little detail about myself, which was mainly because the readership already KNEW me personally, so there wasn’t anything exciting or interesting for me to put here. Since then, however, more of you are people that I don’t know yet, so here is a bit about me.
I’m just a guy living in Peoria, IL. I’ve lived here in the Midwest for a majority of my life, so this is definitely my home-turf. It’s great here, but my travels have shown me that there are LOTS of great places around the US that I wouldn’t mind calling home for a while…
I work in Information Technology in a “governance” role, which essentially means that I’m responsible to oversee the goings-on of our department to ensure that we’re following the correct processes/procedures.
Work isn’t my only passion – in fact, it’s not much of a passion at all… I’ve recently started revisiting photography as a hobby, but it is just too much fun to keep as simply a hobby. I have found great satisfaction in capturing the world around me with a camera, and I like to share these images. On the side, I also participate in Toastmasters International. And, when I have a moment or two, I help some friends take care of their websites. All-in-all, there’s RARELY a dull – or free – moment.

Do you really need another stalker?
I saw your pictures on Flickr and wondered when you taking pictures of cars in Colusa, Il did you take any of the town or the old church? I grew up and have been trying to find pictures online with out success.
No, I can’t say that I took any. I’d be willing to go back and GET some, though – maybe in the springtime when there is more greenery?
I don’t know if I’ve ever even seen any more of Colusa than just the bit on the road that I was on. I’ve driven through there a number of times, but I always just stay on that main road – and I don’t even know the name of it!
